Waldorf Wool Works is Ana Fernández Lamothe.  I am a mama of an amazing daughter who is nearing 3 years of age. I work at home a lot of the time, though I also have a part-time job at the local University which helps pay the bills!

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been creating Waldorf  inspired toys since the winter of 2005 when, after Christmas and a truck load of plastic toys that did nothing but clutter our house,  I decided to de-clutter and simplify-- and start making toys for my daughter. Toys that left room for her imagination to grow, felt great to the touch-- and other senses!-- and that she could play with for years.  Having some knowledge of how Waldorf education encourages toys that are made of all natural materials, I did a little more reaseach and decided to pursue the art and craft of toy making in the Waldorf tradition.
